WFaria is a leading Brazilian law firm specialized in tax and corporate law. With more than 30 attorneys and consultants we are a dynamic mid-size firm located in the heart of São Paulo. We navigate our clients, many of them foreign companies, banks and investors, through the thicket of Brazilian tax regulations and help them set up corporations, businesses and joint ventures. WFaria also has an active M&A and capital markets practice, as well as an experienced litigation team. We are rooted in the international financial markets and have extensive experience in dealing with large corporations and financial institutions in Brazil and abroad. All of our attorneys are bilingual and bring many years of high-level lawyering to the table. Our name partner, Wilson De Faria, is a former Tax Planning Director of Banco Citibank S.A. (Citigroup Brasil) and brings to bear for his clients over 20 years of experience.

We know that clients today expect a proactive approach from their counsel and we deliver it. “Getting things done” has been the way we do business from day one and we have built a loyal clientele of high-level financial institutions and businesses here in Brazil. We understand the urgency within many transactions and investments today and respond to it with precision and efficiency. At the same time we are cognizant of economic pressures and the need for inhouse counsel and tax directors to present viable solutions to their boards. We work with many large corporations, banks and service providers, but also with mid-size companies who appreciate our similar set-up as medium-sized but independent firm.
